Old Testament Survey is divided into five sections or courses. The textbook has four parts but due to the length of part 2, part two is divided into 2 courses instead. This course which covers pages 3 through 111/ chapters 1 - 8, reflects on the Hebrew Torah comprising the Pentateuch or first five books of the Old Testament.

Understanding the Prophets is a significant part of Old Testament Survey. This section deals with writings and works of the prophets. Pages 131 through 275/ chapters 9 – 20.

276 – 422/ chapters 21 – 30 are the continuation of part two of the text of the prophets. Students will analyze and identify works of the prophets from Micah to Malachi.

This is an introductory study into understanding the nature, method, scope, and motivation of Old Testament Theology as it relates to the scripture and God.
